December 4th, 2007 - ILS inks distribution deal with AV Material

ILS and Audio Visual Material of Farnborough, UK’s highly regarded distributor of complementary systems solutions to the professional audiovisual systems integration channel, have concluded a distribution agreement for major portions of the ILS product line for the entire United Kingdom.
The move by ILS complements its dealer network in the Benelux, Germany and North America.

“We found it effective to support our dealers nearby directly; however for the UK, AV Material could quickly demonstrate to us, that they would be far more productive in supporting current and future UK resellers for ILS Lecterns and Presentation systems. AV Material’s sales and support team has established system integrator relations and tremendous knowledge and skills to serve corporate and institutional markets, education, government and the hospitality industry through its channels” says Henk de Groot, ILS managing director.

The deal comes after Intelligent Lectern Systems established its North America Operation and set up a representative’s network across the States in the previous month.

ILS also announced sales successes and installations in key places for its sho-Q software and ILS lectern hardware, such as Boston Scientific (conference rooms), Roche Diagnostics (Auditorium for internal and external use), European Space Agency (studio and auditorium right next to all life sized manned spacecraft models), Major Dutch banks (auditorium and meeting rooms), Major European Union conference centers and e.g. the new Romerus University facilities in Vilnius. SMART Technologies of Calgary has added the ILS16 SpeakersCorner to its furniture catalog for its resellers.
